WELCOME TO KONDININ HOONAVATION !

Kondinin Hoonavation started as the second day entertainment to the Kondinin Keg and Cork Fest back in 2002, with a total of 7 competitors.

Today it has grown into a spectacular weekend of burnouts and events including dirt bike time trials and ute muster.

In 2007 we not only offered unique trophies but also $6000 in prize money, this making us one of the richest burnout competitions in the state. Hoons from all over, including Perth, Merredin, Northam, Denmark, Bremer Bay, Narrogin, Karlgarin and, of course, Kondinin gathered to blow off smoke at our annual event.

Driving on the 15 x 15m pad certainly sorts out the men from the boys, with plenty of figure 8’s and donuts performed.

We have expert commentary all day, and in 2007 run three rounds of burnouts and three shows of freestyle motocross.

The crowd appreciated the performance put on by the drivers and riders with many experiencing burnouts and freestyle bikes for the first time. Kondinin Hoonavation has changed the mindset of many after seeing the skills and professionalism that goes into not only driving and riding, but also the presentation of the vehicles.

Entrants also noted that it is a well run professional set up, with over one hundred locals all pitching in to help run the day to ensure Kondinin Hoonavation becomes a major event on the burnout calendar and is gaining a reputation as a well run comp with excellent prize money and quality trophies.

Congratulations to those winners of 2008 and all those who entered the competition. I believe entrants, their families and Friends who came really enjoyed themselves at this premier burnout event. 2009 is going to be even bigger,better,smokier and alot more.
